The Project - Islamic Empires Invasion Posters
Janissaries- Ottoman Fighters
For this phase of our learning about the Islamic empires you need to create three posters. Each poster is supposed to be about a different Empire talking to a different place of invasion.
The required Empires are
1. The Ottoman Empire
2. The Safavid Empire
3. The Mogul Empire
Each of the posters should include information related to the “information” on the sample poster located at the start of this page.
Required information is related to
1. The name of the invading empire
2. The name of the place being invaded
3. The name of the Empire’s leader (most of these Empires lasted more than one century, make it easy on yourself and pick the “best” leader i.e. the one your textbook provides the most information on).
4. The accomplishment of the Empire’s leader (his military achievements, his cultural reforms, etc.)
5. Details about the Empire’s educational system (this one may be a little harder- but the information is still in the textbook).
6. Details about the technology which was either developed by – or improved by the Empire.
